I was honestly nervous this would feel clinical, but the tone is warm and encouraging without ever being cheesy. The illustrations make some of the anatomy stuff way easier to follow than the dry diagrams I've seen in other books. Finished it in two evenings and already went back to a few chapters.
The full-color illustrations are both fun and surprisingly educational — I finally understand my own body so much better. Already feeling more confident and less pressured during solo sessions. Exactly the guide I needed.
The full-color illustrations make the anatomy sections way easier to follow than the walls of text in similar books. That said, a lot of the advice felt pretty basic if you've already read up on the subject. Decent starting point, just didn't teach me as much as I'd hoped.
